Why doesn't the dehumidifier dehumidify?
Like other electrical appliances, the efficiency of dehumidifiers will decrease after long-term use. After all, the machine also has a service life. However, some customers have reported that the dehumidification efficiency of the new dehumidifier has decreased after two to three months of use. Apart from throwing away fake and shoddy products or dehumidifier failures, improper use of the machine has a great relationship.
1. There are barriers at the air inlet
The air inlet of the dehumidifier must not have barriers, as this affects the air intake. Originally, 10 cubic meters of air could be sucked in per minute, but now the air intake is only 5 cubic meters per minute due to something blocking the air intake, resulting in a natural decrease in dehumidification efficiency.
2. Insufficient dehumidification force
The dehumidification force is generally reflected in the configuration of the machine itself, and different machine models will be configured with hardware for different dehumidification needs. However, some users only consider the humidity requirements when selecting dehumidifiers, but ignore the area of the dehumidifier environment and natural factors in the environment, such as whether it is offshore or rainy areas, where the air humidity is generally high. Therefore, it is generally necessary to configure a large dehumidification force or increase the number of dehumidifiers to achieve dehumidification.
3. The dehumidification environment is not relatively sealed
Dehumidification is generally carried out in a relatively closed environment. The simple truth: The swimming pool is the same as draining water, with one side discharging water and the other side receiving water. It takes a long time to empty the swimming pool, and so does the dehumidifier. If the doors and windows are not closed properly, relatively humid outdoor air continues to enter, so that the dehumidifier cannot quickly reduce air humidity.
4. The temperature of the dehumidification environment is too low
The dehumidifiers on the market are mainly refrigeration type, which has certain requirements for the temperature of the dehumidification environment. The freezing dehumidification opportunity causes the evaporator to freeze due to low temperatures, which in turn affects the number and degree of defrosting of the evaporator. When the refrigeration dehumidifier is in the defrosting state, the unit does not refrigerate for dehumidification. If frequent defrosting occurs, the unit that can truly operate in the dehumidification state per hour will have a short operating time, resulting in a reduced dehumidification effect.
5. Loss of refrigerant
After a long time of use, the refrigerant will continue to be consumed, which is the same reason that the air conditioner cannot cool. Refrigerant needs to be added. After all, the dehumidification principle of a dehumidifier is the same as that of air conditioning refrigeration. Lack of refrigerant can cause normal consumption, as well as compressor leakage. At this point, it is necessary to fill the small holes and then add refrigerant.
